So, I've been washing more stuffies - big surprise there - so here are some more pics showing stuffies and behind the first one you can see what I've been doing in the garden. Compare it to the last lot of pics for the 'before' shot. ;)

The last picture is of some mysterious holes I found under the ivy I was clearing. I have no idea whose holes they are. The biggest one is about 3.5 inches across, goes down about 5 inches then heads left. Not sure of the hole is in use, but the smaller one wasn't there the day before... o.O

Is anyone else getting spammed over on ff.net? I'm getting two kinds - one is I suspect one person using several different accounts set up in the last few hours and leaving multiple reviews on the same fics under different names, all saying "Nice chapter, Best Wishes". Whoever it is also favourites and follows each fic and author. Judging by the number of fics listed on each account as 'favorites' they're not actually reading any of them - there are literally hundreds in a wide range of fandoms, some of them multi-chapter, so they wouldn't have time. Nobody reads that fast, except maybe Dr Spencer Reid.

The other is an anoymous 'Guest' who identifies themselves on each review using a different set of letters and numbers. This person leaves 'reviews' that are also basically letters and numbers... These are the last 8 I've got:

Veri n1c3GNTst0rig6
Veri n1c31Zcst0rijy
Veri n1c3fIzst0riwN
Veri n1c30NHst0riH8
Veri n1c3Wkvst0riHK
Veri n1c3raBst0riS4
Veri n1c3AELst0rixA
Veri n1c3frLst0ri32

By cunning deciphering, I've decided they're basically saying 'Very nice story', and as the reviews are more spread out and restricted to a single fandom, this person COULD actually be reading the stories, but if so why leave such random reviews?

Honestly, I'm starting to doubt the sanity of some of the people using ff.net. Both these spammers have more than a few screws loose.

You Are the Mother

You are very compassionate, and you offer comfort to those around you. You take care of people.
You truly feel for others. You are always imagining what it's like to be in someone else's shoes.

You are needed and wanted. People truly value you, and you would be missed if you weren't around.
You offer warmth and protection to your friends. You are considerate and kind.

Seriously, I am the least motherly person I've ever met, I have no maternal instincts whatsoever, which is why I never had kids. My mind is boggling!

Title: Sock Horror!

Fandom: Torchwood

Author: [livejournal.com profile] badly_knitted

Characters: Ianto, Jack, Tosh, Team

Rating: PG

Word Count: 798

Spoilers: None.

Summary: Torchwood encounters a previously unknown species and Ianto’s life is in peril.

Content Notes: Absolute crack.

Written For: Challenge #94: Footwear at [livejournal.com profile] fan_flashworks

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

A/N: I should probably be ashamed about writing this, but I’m not. It’s about time people here realised I have a warped sense of humour and a rather vivid imagination. I work on the principle that it’s Torchwood; therefore anything can happen.

Since [livejournal.com profile] tardisjournal posted regarding the tags AO3 offered on the posting of one of her fics, I've been paying more attention to the tags there. I seem to mostly get perfectly ordinary, unremarkale tags offered to me, but I am rather puzzled about one thing.

Why can you tag your work with 'Socks' ?

Is there a category for Sock-fic? If so, I'm definitely posting in the right place, having written several fics involving socks.

Sadly, there is no tag for Evil Socks. This is clearly an oversight...

Summary: Owen makes a mistake, with interesting consequences.

Okay, so I know I've always been prone to having weird dreams (even when I have flying dreams, I tend to hover a couple of feet above the pavement and just float along because I'm scared of heights), but last night I think my brain completely lost the plot and came up with a dream so completely bonkers I have no idea what possible meaning it could have - in fact, I don't think I even want to know.

Apparently, my doctor had told me I should be eating more trousers, so I was sitting in my living room, munching on the leg of a pair of white trousers, wondering if I could manage to eat the whole pair. o.O

Sometimes, my brain scares me... Maybe I should just leave it in a nice, padded cell where it can't hurt itself.

I blame the weather. Or something.
