*hugs* Love you, Marielina, I'm hard to freak out, lol!

I'm useless at languages. I've never been outside the UK and due to health problems I don't go out very much, so I no longer travel. I wish I could have seen more of Britain because this little island is beautiful.

I hated history at school, but have grown to love is since. I'm also interested in folklore and Mythology. At ther same time, I'm a huge fan of science-fiction and mostly read SF and fantasy novels. I like horror too, but most recent horror novels just don't seem very scary and are often boring.

I'm a perfectionist and always feel it's better to do things myself, then I know they've been done right, lol!

I love frogs and newts, we have both in our garden pond, and I often have to rescue our frogs from next door's cats. I've had lots of pets, but at the moment there's just on rabbit (Misty) and two tortoises which we've had for about 25 years.

I'll be 51 in three weeks! In my head though, I'm still no more than 20.

I read obsessively and collect crystals and semi-precious gemstones. I think I must be part dragon - I can't resist sparkly things!
