Not having a great evening...

Well, that's a bit of an understatement.

Went downstairs a bit over an hour ago, and mum couldn't talk understandably. Possible stroke, possible urinary infection, no idea which but she's being taken to the stroke unit and I'm stuck here because on top of the agoraphobia and usual health problems, I have a virus and now I've got chronic indigestion from the stress so I can't even sit comfortably.

Some days, life sucks.

All I can do is wait for the hospital to get in touch. Probably won't get much sleep tonight and there may be posting delays tomorrow, so apologies in advance if Fic of the Week and my last drabble end up being late. I'll do my best (got to keep my mind occupied somehow) but no promises.

I'll just be right here, wibbling quietly in my corner. I have my teddy bear for company, but I'm not a happy bunny right now. Good wishes, prayers etc would be very welcome right now.

We had the same problem when EZ was hospitalized. There were bills that needed to be payed and taxes to be dealt with, but we didn't know where she kept all that stuff and had to search her entire flat.

I hope you'll find all the documents you need!

Thank you, I hope so too. *hugs back* Searching will have to wait until I get rid of this migraine though.

Mum's doing a bit better. On top of the stroke she has an infection, which they're treating, and they've also found out that the mysteriouss lesion on her back that she'd not told anyone about is skin cancer. One thing on top of another, it just doesn't seem fair. All I can do is keep hoping and praying for her.

Apologies for the late reply, but my Internet broke down and being all alone at home at the moment (parents are on a cruise with the AIDA), I had trouble fixing it.

Ah, damn! It's just like with EZ or my mum. Always, one thing comes on top of the other, without any kind of breather at all - it is just not fair, but then, life isn't.

I hope the skin cancer is of the benign type and easily treatable, like some types are and that she'll be feeling better and will recover well!

I'm hoping that too. She's having it removed on the 17th.

The stress is causing me massive problems though, feeling very ill today and there's still so much that needs doing. The weather isn't helping, it's so cold here and overcast, I'm trying to get washing dry outside but I keep having to bring it in because of rain. I'm exhausted.

Glad you've got your internet back, it sucks being without it!

I hope you'll feel better soon, too! But really, the weather is so bad, the temperatures having taken a sudden nosedive and the constant rain, I don't feel so peachy either. - At least we have the attic to get our clothes dry.

September is usually warm, this is ridiculous! I want to get the rest of the washing done but we have nowhere indoors for drying things and I haven't lit the fire yet so there's no heat =(

I hope I will, there's so much that needs doing and I'm not up to doing much at the best of times.
