Summary: Having GPS is great – up to a point.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: I don’t believe it! Two in a week that came out at exactly 100 words =D
The Brecon Beacons are vast, so Ianto was delighted by the advent of GPS in the SUV. No more having to stop every few miles, get out the map, and spread in on the bonnet while Jack tried to figure out which way they should have gone and how to get where they needed to be without backtracking.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t much help now. It could tell them where the nearest garage was, but it couldn’t take them there because they’d run out of petrol.
Hearing a car approaching, Ianto stuck out his thumb. Maybe he could hitch a ride.

Date: 2016-11-29 03:28 am (UTC)Now this just proves Ianto has been retcon'd without his knowledge - there is no way he would hitch a ride from strangers in the Brecons after the incident with the cannibals.

Date: 2016-11-29 11:24 am (UTC)But Ianto's not alone, he's armed, and he's far more confident and competent than he was back then. I see him as the kind who'd face his fears head on, and do the things that scare him to prove to himself that he has nothing to fear. I wouldn't want to be the cannibal who tried to abduct the new and improved Ianto Jones!
