Summary: Having GPS is great – up to a point.

A/N: I don’t believe it! Two in a week that came out at exactly 100 words =D





The Brecon Beacons are vast, so Ianto was delighted by the advent of GPS in the SUV. No more having to stop every few miles, get out the map, and spread in on the bonnet while Jack tried to figure out which way they should have gone and how to get where they needed to be without backtracking.


Unfortunately, it wasn’t much help now. It could tell them where the nearest garage was, but it couldn’t take them there because they’d run out of petrol.


Hearing a car approaching, Ianto stuck out his thumb. Maybe he could hitch a ride.

No one in their right mind would mess with Ianto. He just needs a lift to the nearest garage, then perhaps a tow truck to collect the SUV because he's not lugging a can of petrol all the way back!

Be careful Ianto, there are some weird people about. Still anyone who is tempted to try something will get a very nasty surprise. I certainly wouldn't risk it, however tempted I was.

Ianto can take care of himself, I'm sure he's armed, but he looks innocuous enough that even little old ladies would probably trust him.

Now this just proves Ianto has been retcon'd without his knowledge - there is no way he would hitch a ride from strangers in the Brecons after the incident with the cannibals.

But Ianto's not alone, he's armed, and he's far more confident and competent than he was back then. I see him as the kind who'd face his fears head on, and do the things that scare him to prove to himself that he has nothing to fear. I wouldn't want to be the cannibal who tried to abduct the new and improved Ianto Jones!
