Hello, friends! I'm seeking beta assistance for an as yet unknown number of fics for torchwood_fest. So far I have one just under 2k ready for betaing, and there will be at least one more which I haven't started writing yet, but more likely two or three as I'd like to do the weekly prompts for the Fest as well.

If anyone can offer their services, basically to check I haven't made any silly mistakes or missed a typo or two, please either comment below or send a PM.

Also, please consider joining in the fun by writing for the fest. There are prompts at this post, no sign-ups necessary, as well as weekly prompts, or you can just write something else winter themed. as long as it's Torchwood, it's welcome!

Next week, posting begins for the December fest at torchwood_fest! (I know, it's not YET December, but it's pretty close!)

We'll have plenty of fic and art for everyone to enjoy and we encourage everyone to come join us!

Yay! Glad it arrived safely =D

There's no mad rush, I'll probably in bed by the time you have a chance to look at it anyway, and I'm hoping to go out tomorrow because my glasses need adjusting, they're pinching painfully. This might be my last trip out before Christmas if the weather gets bad.

Wish I could offer in return, but I have three massive fics for my one regular client (in different fandoms) that she's been waiting very patiently for for weeks and I really need to get at least one back to her before Christmas o_O

Lol, yeah that would be spoilers! But hey, excited about getting a prompt filled. It was the rebelling tinsel one, wasn't it?

Whatever I don't finish/get beta'ed I'll just post to my own journal. One of them doesn't even have a prompt to go with it yet, it's just a Christmas themed fic, but maybe it'll fit one of the weekly prompts.

I've got a beta for my two small fics, and she might have time for the larger one if I can get it done soonish, but to be honest, it's giving me hassles becuase I'm stuck and I'm not loving how it's gone so far, which is super annoying becuase it was such a great prompt and I feel like I'm ruining it.

Plus, I got distracted by another prompt so I've been working on that one instead. Fluffy angsty Christmas with Ianto's family *sighs wistfully*

Still in two minds about bailing on Challenge week. Real life is getting in the way big time this week, but I feel bad if I don't do it *damn brain*. Guess I'll just see how I go. Leaving some prompts for the double drabble theme from last week so I have something to fall back on. If nothing else, at least I should be able to manage that.

At least challenge Week is less pressure than Contest Week o_O

I just rattled one out yesterday using all the Week One prompts, so that's being betaed. Got to get stuck in on the prompted one, but I had to go out today and now I'm way behind, and I was counting on writing for the new drabble prompt today, but there isn't one yet *wibbles*

Good luck on the fic that's giving you troubles, I hope it'll suddenly click and work out. you seem to have a lot on your plate just with writing, never mind life stuff. Don't overdo things *offers tea and cookies* Try to relax a bit too.
