Halloween Charms Second Set

Here's the second set of charms for Halloween. Hopefully there will be a third set, I want some more witch charms because the ones I've got are really tiny. I made another 2 dozen todat, so I have four of each design. If any of my friends want one, let me know which and if I don't already have your address, PM me. I have a few more of each charm and I'll post another picture when I get the other charms I want - witches, cats, possibly some of those eight legged arachnids too. (I won't use the S word *wink*). I'm having too much fun to stop now!



Still can't decide whether to try making a pumpkin Jack O' Lantern...

It really is, especially now. Used to be, mum would lock up and turn the front lights out before it got dark on Halloween to keep Trick Or Treaters away, but last year I got to enjoy myself and I think mum enjoyed it too. I'm going all out again this year =)

Let me know if you'd like one of the charms, I'm taking orders because I've already made way too many for the trick or treaters!

There are some charms being auctioned tomorrow so I'll try for them and if I don't get them, I'll just buy some.

Going all out is so much fun. Hope you get some trick or treaters coming to see you. :) I can't manage to stay up late enough for them with my work schedule and I miss being able to dress up for work. But I can just picture John's face if anyone dared to suggest it. *snickers*

That's true. I have a cute little stuffed key ring fob spider that I call Yo-Yo because he, at one time, was suspended on an elastic string. I guess he's a bean bag of some sort. My dad can't stand him.

Lol! I have a big one that used to be on elastic, but it perished so he doesn't bounce any more. He's unimaginatively called Spid.

I also used to make little spiders on elastic that you could bounce. I'll have to do that again! Maybe for next Halloween.

Sometimes those older things are the best ones you have. I might have to take mine to work on Friday. Thank heavens I have the actual Halloween off this year. The ER tends to get a little mad.

Oh, I bet the kids would get a kick out of those. Especially if they have a sibling or friends that's not as fond of spiders as they are. *Grins*

I'll have to think about taking him in. i don't know how many people would notice on my desk. It tends to be buried in papers by the second hour of my shift most days anyway. *sighs*

I'm quite looking forward to not having to worry about work that day. Someone commented that this will be the 666th Halloween, but I don't know where that number came from. I made the mistake of mentioning the miscalculation and some scholars now believe the "evil" number to be 616. Sherre' didn't like me questioning the Bible like that. *sighs again* I need some more educated friends around this place. Or to be able to take my internet friends to work with me somehow.

The third batch will happen when I get the charms, I haven't ordered them yet as there are some for auction tomorrow so I want to try for those first. By the time I'm ready to make them, hopefully my thumbnail will have recovered. I broke it making the last batch opening the split-rings to attach tne charms.

The witches are cute but tiny, less than a centimetre. They are double sided though. I'm going to use some for earrings =)

Left to right, there's a leafy crescent moon, triskele, Halloween pumpkin, another crescent moon, and a witch on a broomstick, so which one was it caught your eye?

I hope you do dress up. You could dress in black and take a cape with you or something so you don't have to wear it on the metro. I'm going top be dressed as a witch =)

My error, it was the crescent moon I was thinking of.
I thought that it was a sun.
It was the first moon.

I still have three weeks to make up my mind.
I might do something, as long as I don't look silly on the train.

Pictures on my camera come out really tiny. I tried the other week with an owl called Galadriel, but the pictures are too small.

The leafy one? I think those are really effective. They're only one sided though so they don't work for earrings, otherwise I would have made myself a pair.
