Oh, lordy Collin. His heart is in the right place, but I do wonder at his mind. Don't suppose you have any neighborhood kids that want to earn a pound cleaning that lot up, do you? Having a professional come in would have been so much easier on everyone.
No one old enough to be safe with a pair of secateurs. the stuff has to be chopped up to go in the bin, I'vve got blisters.
Doing it this way, it'll be next year before the conifer is done instead of done in a day. I still might hire someone to do the rest of it and take it away.
I think getting someone in to finish it up and haul it off is your best plan right now. Otherwise you're at risk for hurting yourself badly, and you need to be resting right now. How are you holding up?
It's a battle. I'm thinking depression and residual guilt over not being a good enough carer are getting tangled up with grief and anxiety and causing some psychosomatic issues. I just don't know how best to handle it all. So, crystals, relaxation exercises, stuff like that... If I was any good at meditation, that might help, but I can't seem to sit and do nothing =(
Sounds like a lot on your mind and a mind running fifteen directions at once. What about writing everything down in a notebook? I know how scarce time is for you, but this could count as a type of therapy, and writing things down is a good way to be able to look at them from a different viewpoint.
Meditation takes a lot of time to learn. I can clear my mind easily enough, and stay still, but the moment I try to focus on anything to think about it in detail, there it goes again.
This is my favorite sound to listen to when I want to think about anything serious. Or if I want to just not think about anything at all. One reason I don't do well writing at the beach. Just make sure you don't drink a lot of water when you're listening or you'll be running off to the bathroom.
That's the most important part. Yay for being able to get to the shops. :) It's amazing how much shopping can wear you out no matter what. I hope it doesn't rebound on you in a migraine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
My card and book came today. Thank you so much. The little pug is so adorable. I'm going to find a frame for him because he's too precious to put away in my card box. :) Mum tried to run off with him. And all three of us are looking forward to reading the book. Signs in English in other countries can be some of the funniest things ever.
I almost dropped it in the bath a couple of times I was laughing so hard. My favorite so far is the one that says "if you think our wait staff is rude, you should see our manager". Part of me wants to make something similar to hang up in our office at the hospital. *snickers*
Oh no, I hope the headache is from the stress. Because new glasses and chocolate are too important to be causing headaches. Awesome you were able to get your new glasses. How are they working for you?
The headache is pretty bad so I've taken my glasses off and put the old ones on. Still got a bad headache though. Migrainish, I guess. Just hope it goes away soon.
I wonder if John would understand who it was referring to ;)
Phooey on headaches. >.< I hope it goes away soon too. I came home to a headache today, but it's stormy and there's a tropical storm about a thousand miles away that's screwing up weather patterns. If it survives until Saturday, we might have our first hurricane since moving here.
I would doubt it, he's not smart enough. *giggles*
Isn't that the way it always goes? Hope all of you feels better here by the weekend. I've been fighting a bit of a headache for the past couple of days. Too many storms, I think.
If it survives tonight and tomorrow there's a good chance. They're getting things ready to roll out at work. Guess we'll see how it all goes.

You're welcome. Hope you enjoy it. :)

I have a headache, but I'm not sure if it's my new glasses, or stress, or eating chocolate yesterday, or what o_O
