Summary: Rory doesn’t really see himself as brave.

A/N: My first drabble for dw100, and it came out at exactly 100 words first try! YAY!

Rory had never considered himself especially daring or brave, he’d always been more clown material than hero material. Some days he wasn’t sure how he’d ended up here, of all places, travelling through time and space with a madman in a blue box, but then he’d look at Amy, vibrant and vivacious, and it all made sense.

His Amy. He’d loved her since they were kids, had never doubted that he would always be hers, if she wanted him. He was here because this was where she was; he would go anywhere and dare anything, just to see her smile.

Even if he's scared, he'll be there for Amy, whatever she needs, including waiting for the Pandorica to open. As long as they're together, they'll be fine.

(When ff.net allows it, this will be the first in the Doctor Who Drabble Files - I found a Doctor Who drabble community with weekly prompts, thanks to a friend, so I'll see if I can get a drabble a week out of that. Like I really needed ANOTHER challenge community to write for, lol! I just wrote 45 ficlets at fic_promptly for Contest Week. I still haven't posted everything from last time, back at the end of October!)

Hopefully I'll write more to add to it, otherwise it'll be the shortest 'collection' in history! The good thing about the Doctor Who drabble community is that all the challenges can be used, not just the most recent. So, there are over 500 prompts just waiting to be used...

Rory showed extraordinary loyalty and patience, that was such an awfully long wait.

I think so too. Might look at the old challenges there and try to get another Who drabble written so my first one won't be lonely, lol!

I think there are over 500 Challenge prompts on dw100, and they're all open so I could, theoretically, write a drabble for each of them... That'll give me something to write in between other challenges!
