Writer's Block: B.Y.O.B. Holidays

I'd just like to have a Christmas where nothing disastrous happens - where everyone stays healthy, the pipes don't burst flooding the house, the heating doesn't break down leaving us freezing... Just a nice Christmas where nothing bad happens. The last few Christmases have been dismal, to say the least.

That and a very BIG bag of crystallized stem ginger - I can eat that until it comes out my ears!

(I wouldn't say no to Ianto Jones either =P )

I think any health food type store should stock it. Here, I get it from Holland & Barrett, they're the staple British health food store. Some supermarkets stock it too, but it's usually not such good quality and even more expensive and in smaller packets - I prefer to buy in bulk, those little 100g packets wouldn't last me 5 minutes. For lovers of ginger though, it's hard to beat! Takes the roof of your mouth off it's so hot! Just ask for crystallized ginger, I'm sure you'll be able to find some somewhere!
