I already have the balloons strung up outside, waiting a bit before putting the batteries in the lights and getting them up. Most of the other decorations are in place... I'm getting there!
Still tired, I had to get up early again. I booked to have my gutters cleared and was told they'd be here sometime between 7.30 and 9.30 in the morning *headdesk* He got here at 7.50.
Two storey house, me with no ladder, and scared of heights... Had no choice but to pay and it turned out they were practically clear anyway. Can't remember the last time it was done. Not this century, that's for sure!
I can't blame your mum, I get scared seeing a complete stranger up a ladder!
Trees are wonderful, I just don't usually climb them, although I'm trying to demolish an overgrown leylandii at the bottom of the garden that's blocking sunlight from the garden, and I've been climbing ladders and standing on branches to saw off higher branches. I need a taller ladder though.
