Still in a lot of pain, so I called in the doctor - no, not the Time Lord sadly, just a common or garden GP.

Long story short, he's pretty sure I've cracked a rib. I know some of you out there know how THAT feels. So, that's going to take a few weeks to heal, but I still have to clean out the coal fire and shovel coal every day. Oh joy.

Surely I'm due for some GOOD luck by now?

Sadly there hasn't been a new prompt this week and I'm out of inspiration for the current one. I wanted to write and post a drabble today, but pain+lack of time+lack of inspiration+too much stress seem to have scuppered that idea.

I thought I'd already hit rock bottom but no, it seems there's a lower place.

Maybe you need to write a "rock bottom" fic... When one of the boys hits rock bottom - how does the other handle it? Could be cathartic... Then again, maybe you need a cup of tea and a comfy blanket.

I'll take the comfy blanket - tea unsettles my stomach. But then so do many things.
