Fic Of The Week - Week Seventy Nine

Happy Monday! (Well, I figured I'd at least try to sound positive, lol!)

This week's fic choice is Run by agent_girlsname , a fic from September 2010. There are 7 chapters, an epilogue and a bonus smut chapter to provide that little extra incentive =D

Summary: Captain Jack Harkness is on the run from UNIT, things look hopeless until he takes a coffee shop boy hostage...

Sounds like an interesting little AU, hopefully it will prove more cheerful than last week's choice (I felt so sad for Jack).

It's Sunday and I have only just got around to reading your post from last Monday! How did I get so far behind?? I have six pages of friends stuff to catch up on this afternoon, then hopefully I will find time to read this - it sounds fun :-)

Oops! Sounds like you're even more behind than I am! I'm trying to catch up with cross-posting (an impossible task) and I still have fics to read, every time I make headway something happens and they start piling up again... Busy week for both of us it seems!

(I have managed to read my fic of the week though, and I thought it was fun!)

Cross posting is a pain, it takes forever especially if like you, you post to a million sites! I only ever post to my own journal and tw100. And the bingo sites when I have completed them (so far behind with my love_bingo! and I am not letting myself sign up to this year's h/c_bingo until I have finished love_bingo. Hopefully I'll get one or maybe two fics for that posted today.)
I will write a drabble - I've not even looked at the prompts yet, but I haven't missed a prompt since I joined LJ (except one where I was on holiday and had to post a day late when I got back because my phone wasn't co-operating enough to let me post when I was away) - I'm not going to miss this weeks!
It looks like you have written a lot of drabbles again this week :-) the multiple prompts seem to be agreeing with you :-)

They really are, I've ended up with 8 this week! I still have two to post.

Spotted one title that looked like it could work for a sequel to your last week's drabble - Ordeal By Trousers. ;)

There were some I would have liked to do, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get anything that worked. I ended up with some half-written snippets that might try to make into ficlets at some point since they weren't cooperating as drabbles. I'm looking forward to seeing next week's titles!

(I'm also working on some longer fics, but don't hold your breath - I'm not posting anything longer than a drabble until the curresnt challenge is over, I'm having enough trouble juggling posting all my drabbles!)
