“Wheeeeee! I’m flying!” Jack shouted out gleefully.


Ianto rolled his eyes. It was four in the morning, they should have been home in bed, but there’d been a Weevil alert a couple of hours ago and they’d chased the damned thing through Cardiff until it had given them the slip twenty minutes ago. Hopefully it had made its own way back into the sewers.


They’d lost the Weevil, but found a children’s play park, where Jack had made a beeline for the slide; this was the tenth time he’d slid down it. Ianto doubted his lover would ever grow up.

LOL Jack. He's lucky that he found a slide that fits him! I bet that Ianto would be rolling his eyes, laughing his ass off and rushing off to help if he got stuck in the slide (well, not necessarily in that order)

It was one of the old-fashioned ones like we used to have in our local park, easily big enough for adults. No doubt such big slides are now considered too dangerous =(

Oh yes, Ianto would have been rolling on the grass laughing if Jack had got himself stuck!

One of the lovely things about Jack was that after all he had gone through he never lost his sense of fun. Ianto could understand that, loved him for it and joined in wholeheartedly

Yes, Jack remained child-like in so many ways, maybe it was his way of coping. I'm sure once Jack has polished the slide clean, Ianto will join in ;)

Ianto refuses to go on the slide until he's sure the seat of Jack's pants has polished it nice and clean. He doesn't want to ruin his own trousers ;)

They'll try the seesaw next.
