Summary: Sorting out Torchwood’s archives, Ianto never knows what he’ll find next.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.





Sorting and cataloguing the eclectic jumble of random objects in the Torchwood archives was an often-tedious job, but Ianto was nothing if not thorough. He went through each of the many archive rooms in turn, opening boxes, photographing the contents, noting down all relevant details and where possible, identifying items.


Some things were from other planets, some were from earth’s past or future, some defied explanation.


The next box was labelled simply ‘Seal.’


Ianto opened it, expecting some ornate antique object for sealing letters.


It was a seal alright; twelve inches of fluffy grey plush.


“Oh. That sort of seal.”

Maybe we'll find out some day... More likely it fell through the Rift a hundred years ago, made from futuristic substances, so was stuck down in the archives. Poor seal =(

Maybe Nosy will find the poor thing and adopt it. Just as long as it isn't an alien shape change. With Torchwood you never know.

It's been down there a long time, and it's just a plush seal, but I'm sure someone will give it a good home now that it's not out of its time. Ianto will vet it thoroughly first of course, just to be sure.
