Doctor Who Drabble: Undeserved

Title: Undeserved

Summary: He hadn’t expected a reward, but he’d at least expected a thank you.

The Doctor feels he has every right to be miffed. After everything he did, this is how he’s repaid?


It’s not as if he’d been expecting to be knighted or anything, but he saved Queen Victoria’s life, among others, and sent the werewolf away from earth, to wherever it wanted to go.


Now as a reward he’s being banished from earth? How ungrateful is that? It hardly seems fair.


Then to add insult to injury, Her Majesty sets up the Torchwood Institute and makes him public enemy number one in their charter.  What did he ever do to deserve that?

The Doctor and Rose were having too much fun while people were being killed off. I don't think the Queen liked that.

Rose really annoyed me in that episode. The Doctor wasn't quite as bad, but he wasn't respectful enough or serious enough for the Queen.

Rose was a bad influence. It was only when she was separated from the Doctor is when she actually took the situation seriously. Mainly because she had too.

She was showing off for the Doctor, like any teenager does in front of someone she fancies. Trouble is, she never grew out of that.

Rose never grew up. Full stop. The Doctor can be like a big kid but even he knows when to reign it in.
