Summary: The moment has come, will the Doctor throw the final switch or not?

The Doctor is firm in his resolve, knows what he must do and is determined to follow through, whatever the cost. The fate of the whole universe depends on him; what’s one small planet compared to that?


Innocent people have already sacrificed their lives in order to buy him the time he needed to construct the Delta Wave, and now at last it’s finished. All he needs to do is activate the signal and every living creature within range will die, Daleks and humans alike.


What is he, coward or killer?


Resolution crumbles; he can’t do it.


“Coward, any day.”

Okay that was a bit cowardly but I still blame Rose.

On the i=other hand, at least she gave Jack life. Just a bit too much of it. Not that I'm defending Rose as such, but if she and the Doctor hadn't acted as they did, Jack and Ianto would never have met, so something good came out of it =)

I did kind of have her come back and make Ianto immortal in one of my CoE fixits, lol! Can't remember which one though. Might not even be posted yet. She's not seen, but Ianto wakes up and says there was a girl, called herself Bad Wolf...

The Doctor has a good heart.. It was a terrible decission to have to make and I think he made the right one.
