Title: Value Is Relative

Summary: Ianto has become very skilled at trading.

A/N: Set in my ‘Through Time And Space ‘Verse.





Jack was amazed by how well Ianto had adjusted to life among the stars. Of course, his TARDIS had a lot to do with that; she’d picked up important information about the worlds they’d visited while searching for Jack, telling Ianto anything he needed to know to fit in.


Even so, watching him trading with aliens was endlessly fascinating. As Jack looked on, Ianto bowed low, offering the squat creatures what looked like a bag of marbles in exchange for enough fresh fruit and vegetables to last them several months.


“Apparently glass is more precious than diamonds here,” Ianto explained.

Not really, there might be two or three drabbles, two or tree short one-shots, and I'm not even sure if I tagged them with ttas... I'm getting disorganised in my old age ;)

I have two or three I haven't posted yet, occasionally an idea hits me for one of the challenges. I wrote one for fandomweekly and got first place =D Not posted it to my journals yet though.

Sorry I've missed so many of your stories.  I'm pleased to see you are still writing.  I probably won't ever catch up, there's a lot there!  But I will keep dipping in every so often when the mood takes me ☺

Things are still really sh*t for me at the moment.  I can't believe how badly my life has been turned upside down this year.  On the plus side I have moved into my new house ☺

*hugs* Sorry things re so bad, but new house, that has to be a good thing?

Still battling health issues, but looking forward to Halloween. The house is still upside down as I get stuff out of storage, sort things out, and get rid of what I don't want, while trying to find somewhere to put the things I want to keep. There are boxes everywhere, lol. Turning the box room into a craft room, eventually.

Writing is still going well, not far off a massive 400k for the year!

Clever Ianto. Jack really appreciates him. Mind you, marbles can be pretty. I used to have a small fish bowl filled with glass marbles and sea washed glass from the beach

I've still got jars of marbles, some from childhood and others that mum bought, even some we found (marbles do like to wander).

Ianto is good at trading, he can always come up with something the natives are eager for!
