Summary: Jack’s table manners could use improvement.

The Torchwood team had barely sat down for lunch when the Rift alarms started blaring.


“Typical. Sometimes I wonder how we ever find time to eat,” Ianto sighed. “I suppose this can be warmed up in the microwave when we get back.”


He started to close the box he’d just opened, but Jack’s hand darted out, snagging a slice of pizza, which he folded and somehow managed to cram in his mouth, chewing it with difficulty.


“Glutton,” Ianto accused.


Owen shook his head. “And people think I’ve got a big mouth.”


Jack just smirked and went to get his coat.

That's the proper way to eat pizza, by folding it, though not all at once. For once Ianto is wrong. Pizza from the microwave is disgusting. Of Italian stock, I know whereoff I speak.

It's either microwave it or eat it cold though, because Ianto won't want it wasted. Of course after tasting it microwaved, he might decide to give it to the Weevils and get a fresh one ;)

The idea is to fold it to stop the toppings sliding off. then take bites. To reheat, better to cover with foil and reheat in the oven. The weevils would probably enjoy the microwaved version, as you say Ianto doesn't approve of waste. If you do try pizza I hope you enjoy it. Nothing more tasty that a well made Margharity

I've had pizza before, but there are too many things in it that I can't eat these days, I've developed a lot of food allergies over the years.

Not sure if they have a regular oven in the Hub, but if they do, I'm sure Ianto will learn the proper way tp re-heat pizza, he's a fast learner =)
