Title: Spooked
Author: [livejournal.com profile] badly_knitted
Characters: Tenth Doctor.
Rating: G
Written For: Challenge 088: Spook at [livejournal.com profile] dw100.
Spoilers: Silence In The Library
Summary: There are few things that can spook the Doctor.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.

The Doctor has seen all manner of strange beings in his travels, from bizarre but harmless creatures to implacable enemies. He’s borne witness to war and plague and natural disaster, and while he’s never been left unmoved by the things he’s seen, both good and bad, he’s seldom been spooked.

Daleks are his greatest foes, Cybermen aren’t far behind, but while he fears what they might do, he’s not afraid of them. In their way, they’re understandable and can be fought.

The Vashta Nerada are a different matter entirely; not even the Doctor can fight shadows. He can only run.

That was one of the creepiest episodes of the show I have ever seen.

Great drabble.

I love books, but the Vashta Nerada is creepy.

But creepy follows the Doctor everywhere,

The universe is so huge.

When one has time ans space to travel, there will still be scary stuff out there.

So much to see, and all that time to fill.

He loves the running.

He probably has a list of pet peeves.

The Doctor is known for his running and hand holding.

I liked how the Ninth Doctor ran. No surprising Christopher Eccleston was a regular marathon runner.

Tom cruise has a thing about sprinting.

I miss being able to run without taking deep breaths afterwards.

I hear ya. For me, its my feet. They get sore after walking too long.:(

The Doctor is energetic and Peter Capaldi is doing fine.

The second Doctor seemed to be more faster on his feet than the first Doctor. I'm sure that was because of William Hartnell's real life serious health issues that forced him to leave the role.

According to the documentary, he was reluctant to play the Doctor but eventually cherished the role. The Doctor wasn't suppose to regenerate.

I wish I could make your arthritis go away.*hugs you*
