Title: Wide Open Spaces

Author: [livejournal.com profile] badly_knitted

Characters: Tosh.

Rating: G

Written For: Challenge 411: Wide at [livejournal.com profile] tw100.

Spoilers: Nada.

Summary: Tosh has a lot to adjust to now Jack has freed her.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

After months in her tiny UNIT cell, Tosh was having a little trouble adjusting to so much space. It wasn’t just her initial agoraphobia; it was the concept of living in such a huge place.

Her cell had been so narrow that she could stand in the middle and easily touch both walls, but now almost every room in her little house was big enough to fit her cell in several times over.

It was wonderful, it was unimaginable luxury, and she loved it, but she couldn’t help feeling lost in her new double bed. It was far too wide.

The End

Don't tell the Doctor.

I wish I had something in common with Tosh.

That would be something. I wish he would cure mine of Mosquito bites. Anything I'm sensitive too really.

I think serious issues like that need to take more of a priority over trivial stuff like technology thats designed for vanity or luxury.

I couldn't agree more. Some people don't think that way unfortunately.

I saw a story about how botox helped a boy who couldn't walk. It assisted with his legs!.

Thats something!.:)

That sounds like a story that should be explored on Doctor Who.

In regards to Toshs banana allergy, it would disappoint the Doctor because he wouldn't be able to share a banana with her.

Or maybe he would feel bad for her and think his lucky he can eat it himself?*over-analysing*

Yeah.

Your friend sounds cheeky. I put my strawberries in a blender if they aren't firm anymore. Don't they come in a plastic box for protection?

I forgot what that packaging was called. I've never seen strawberries sold without a lid these days. Maybe in the markets.

I think I know what you mean. Some people are just like that and you find a way of dealing with it. I'm glad you have a friend who helps you out in his own way.
