Summary: The Doctor has a habit of licking things to find out what they are.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The Doctor picked up a strange object, studied it carefully, and stuck out his tongue, but before he could try an experimental lick…
“Oi, Spaceman, why d’you go around licking everything?” Donna asked, wrinkling her nose in distaste.
“Tongues are very sensitive organs I’ll have you know, especially Time Lord tongues. I can tell a lot about things with a quick lick, analyse them right down to the molecular level, tell what they are and what they’re made from in an instant.
So saying, he gave the thing a good lick.
“So what is it?”
He pulled a face. “Sour!”
The End

Theres a reason people prefer to purchase DVDs instead. Its usually more convenient.
Maybe on a rainy day when you have nothing else going on.*tries not to get excited/attempts a cartwheel but fails*

Date: 2016-09-11 10:38 am (UTC)Yeah, i prefer to have the DVDs, but I'm so busy either writing fanfic (trying to keep up with about 6 weekly challenges plus my bingo card plus other challenges) and trying to sort out everything I've got out of storage and get rid of stuff I don't need... I end up not having time for anything else. I post fics while I'm watching the stuff on TV that I want to see. I really need 48 hour days =/

Times they are a changing. I remember renting videos back in the nineties and now you can purchase DVD's in a vending machine. I will stick to buying directly from an existing store.
I struggle to juggle my usual routine. It is all about priority.

Cats make doing yoga look easy. But then they can jump up to five to six times their height without a running start.

Date: 2016-09-11 04:14 pm (UTC)I can't work because of health problems, so you'd think I'd have plenty of time for everything, but it just doesn't work that way. Sorting out the accumulated stuff from over 50 years in one house is daunting, especially since over half was mum's and I'm having to decide what to keep and what to throw out.
=(
Yoga is hard. I had a yoga book, but I couldn't do even the easiest exercises so I just got rid of that.

What you are left to deal with is a job even if you aren't getting paid for it.
I've never done extreme yoga. I get exhausted doing cardio from walking back and forth from TAFE.

Date: 2016-09-12 11:07 am (UTC)Oh yeah, some days just getting stuff done around the house like washing the dishes and hanging the laundry out is exhausting enough. I get tired quickly and I never get enough sleep.
It was a yoga for beginners book, but I just don't bend like that! Going up and down stairs a couple of dozen times a day, sometimes carrying stuff, is enough exercise for me.

Date: 2016-09-12 11:58 am (UTC)I do that thing where I get carried away and type the wrong key. That is when I glance down to check. I'm suppose to be better than that since I got credited 98% accuracy for 30 WPM.
Domestic duties are very time consuming. Especially when you are assisting others. I never feel like I've done enough. It is exhausting.
Going up and down stairs is one way of working your butt off if need be.:)

I wish organic foods weren't so expensive to produce.
