Summary: Ryo doesn’t always hate spiders.

Despite the way Ryo always dealt with them calmly whenever they showed up in his apartment, Dee was well aware of his lover’s dislike of spiders, so he was surprised when, on a rare afternoon stroll through Central Park, going nowhere in particular, Ryo drew his attention to something.

In a bush beside the path was a tight cluster of tiny spiderlings, each barely the size of a pinhead.

“Look at them all, they’re so tiny,” Ryo exclaimed in wonder. “It’s almost a shame they have to grow.”

Dee chuckled. “I guess when it comes to spider phobias, size matters.”

I am both fascinated and repelled by spiders, too. Ryo and I are weird. Ha ha!

And me too. The big ones scare me, but I'm fascinated by spiders and I have cool spider earrings that I love. I've been known to chase a large spider around my room, screaming and shuddering, trying to catch it so I can put it outside. I won't deliberately kill a spider unless it's accidentally been badly injured.

That's a good point. Although, baby flies are maggots, so there are some exceptions. Not that I'm bothered by maggots, I'm just not sure you can call them cute... LOL!
