Summary: What to get for a very important birthday?

“It’s her birthday,” Jack said firmly. “We should get her something she’d never buy for herself, something nobody else would think to get her.”

“I already don’t like where this is going.” Ianto was dreading the list of totally inappropriate presents Jack was likely to suggest. “Can’t we just go with flowers and some really expensive chocolates?”

Jack shook his head. “Everyone else will be doing that. Jewellery’s out too, She’s probably already got more than she’ll ever wear. Besides, it should be something fun.”

“Jack, so help me, if you suggest getting Her Majesty sex toys, I’ll disown you!”

I think the best present they can give her is they invite themselves to a private afternoon tea with the Queen and Jack can regale her with his stories for a couple of hours. I think she would absolutely love that!

Oh, my God! I'm dying of laughter! ;p Surely Jack would never! But I can so see Prince Philip finding that gift idea hilarious. The Duke of Edinburgh is known for being kinda off-colour.

I'm sure it would give HM a giggle too - after all, she knows what Jack is like.

HM would be amused, ChookyEmbra as we call him in this area, certainly would. Visit to the Hub, Ianto's coffee, maybe a pet Fluff of her own. She'd enjoy Jack's stories, we know from Olympics she has a sense of humour

She does love when jack and Ianto visit, and I'm sure she'd like to have a Fluff for the family. Future generations would have corgis and the Royal Fluff *grins*
