This little critter was the inspiration for Nosy and is standing in for the famous Fluff while I attempt to make something similar but longer, slimmer, and greener!

Thank you! I'm still hoping to make a Nosy more like the actual fic character (thinner, longer and greener), but this little critter was the original inspiration. Perhaps its Nosy's ancestor, lol!

Happy new year to you! I spent my new year's eve hunting my cats - someone let off fireworks in my street, and the cats were terrified. Your Ianto and Jack/s are very handsome.

Nosy is soooo adorable, even if it is an AU Nosy. Perhaps it wandered in from one universe to the left. ;)

Saw that miniature Whiskey on ebay and I didn't care who I had to outbid to get it - it was made for my boys! There is a bottle inside the box, of course!

I'm sure everyone got a shot of Whiskey, and then they all had fun with the handcuffs, lol!

Alternate Nosy doesn't mind being a stand-in, it likes the attention. I think Jack and Ianto will keep it even if I manage to make a more 'lifelike' Nosy! A Fluff is for life, not just for Christmas!

Well of course that Cap'n Jack whiskey could only go to one person! (Or several versions of the same person, as the case may be.) I would have had to have it too, spare no expense!

Well-said, and it applies to every pet people give for a holiday, like bunnies on Easter or kittens... whenever. But of course the boys are responsible caretakers and would never abandon any Nosy. I'm thinking this one came over from an AU world where it wasn't so appreciated, like the neglected Ianto at the end of that fic you recently rec'd. LOL.

Yeah, that seems likely! Fluffs are good at slinking through small gaps - the fluffiness is deceptive - so it found a little hole between dimensions and slinked through from the evil dimension where it was being experimented on in the hopes of finding somewhere nicer. It's happy now, well fed and cared for.

I spotted the whiskey by chance, so it really must have been meant for my boys, lol!

I paraphrased something that has been used here for years to remind people that giving animals at Christmas is not a good idea unless the recipient is fully prepared to care for their new pet for as long as it lives. The campaign worked well, I believe, with less pets being abandoned after Christmas when their new owners got tired of them.

Awwww! I'm glad Alt!Fluff found a better dimension to inhabit. :) And a little jealous. Why can't I live with two Iantos and five Jacks?!? :-p

Every year around Easter animal rights groups run a similar campaign to discourage people from giving bunnies and baby chicks as pets, but I've not heard much at Christmas. The message is a good one, whatever the time of year. So many people see animals as disposable, it's shocking!

I've come to the conclusion that my Action Figure Theatre universe is on where all the unwanted, neglected and badly treated Jacks and Iantos find their way to, a Gwenless place they can be happy and loved. If a Fluff or two finds its way there too, well, the more the merrier! There's also a purple pteranodon and will no doubt be some other odd creatures making appearances. It's a Janto sanctuary!

I never get how people can just toss aside a living creature when they get tired of it or when it gets older and doesn't look so cute. Most of my pets have been unwanted by other people for various reasons. My last 2 guinea pigs, their previous owner had to move and her new landlord didn't allow pets. Another pair, the kids got bored with them, another pair the little boy turned out to be violently allergic to fur. My current rabbit and two previous rabbits were all bred by accident, the two tortoises were both strays who were never claimed, two of my budgies were found in gardens, the cockatiel was unwanted because he only had one leg... All those and more have founds homes here for the remainder of their lives.

Awwww! Great presents! I have the exact same handcuffs LOL (although I originally planned to do some prison/whumping scenes with them. My friend just commented, that sex toys need pink fuzzy plushie stuff on them. Maybe you could add some LOLOL ROFL)

I have a friend over for visiting, we did a wonderful garden scene yesterday together which I will post as soon as we are back from Glasgow (JB panto!)

Wondering about the whiskey - is that custom made or is there indeed a Cap'n Jack Whiskey out there? And the food looks delicious! If I wasn't so stuffed from my own New Year's party, I'd like to come over and have a bite!

(and a personal side note - I always like to read the comments of others but I find it very hard on your journal with the white on green/yellow background. Does that not bother you? A little bit more contrast would be nice, but I really can't ask you to change the colours of your LJ just for me?)

ROFLMAO! As great as Ianto looks in pink, I think the boys are tough enough and careful enough to udse the real thing without any pink plush!

I don't know if there is a real Cap'n Jack whiskey, but when I spotted it I just had to have it for the boys! I think I got a good array of food. Some things - 4 plates of turkey dinner, and tureens of Baked potatoes and Boiled potatoes, sprouts, as well as Yorkshire puddings - were put away by the time I took that picture. I'll try to do a post sometime with all the foods I've got - there's a lot! I was pleased to get gravy and cranberry sauce, and I got a whole roast turkey but it was very small, which was a bit disappointing, The sliced turkey made up for that though!

I'll have to add an Action Figure Theatre section to my Master List until I can learn how to put links in the sidebars.

Yeah, the comments are a bit hard to read but I have no idea how to make any changes to my theme, and I don't want to change the theme because I really love it, it's the only one I've found that I've never tired of. On dreamwidth I change my theme several times a year, but I've had this one here for several years and it never fails to brighten my day. If you know a way to change comment text colour or background colour, or even text size, I'd give it a try but I'm useless at anything technical, I don't know coding and I struggle with the most basic things.

I like to read comments too. :) Just barging in to say I can send you instructions to putting links in sidebars, if you want. It's not difficult, but it's not intuitive to figure out, either. Quirky LJ is quirky.

Yes please! Could you email them? Or PM them on dreamwidth if you have an account there? LJ is beyond quirky at the moment - access is intermittent at best, non-existent most of the time, which is why my New Year post is also non-existent. Posting anything is impossible! Just replying to comments is a hit and miss agffair that takes forever on the few occasions it actually works. }=[ (that's a frowny face, in case you're wondering, lol!)

When I saw the Whiskey on ebay, I just had to have it! I'd already bought the handcuffs - I have seven kinky boys so I'm sure they'll get a lot of use!
