Summary: Amelia Pond makes a wish.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
Amelia asks Santa to send someone to help with the crack in her wall, because she doesn’t know who else to ask and everyone knows Santa can do anything. He has flying reindeer and can come down chimneys, even when the fire’s lit, so surely he’ll help.
The raggedy man calls himself the Doctor. He’s funny and Amelia immediately likes him. He looks at the crack and she’s sure he can do something about it, but first there’s trouble with his box.
“I’ll be back in five minutes.”
People always say that; she wishes this time it would be true.

RTD subjected the leading man, Ten and Jack to the max with angst amongst other things I wish hadn't happened.

I don't like to be desensitised by graphic violence. I have my limits. Arrow is not as bad as Outlander. I stopped watching the latter even though I thought the premise was good.
It's strange to see John Barrowman play a sort of baddie. I watch Arrow on Foxtel.

Date: 2016-05-23 12:00 pm (UTC)TV violence doesn't bother me and thankfully hasn't desensitised me to the real thing. the news regularly appals me while I can watch Gotham without flinching because I know that's not real.
I'm gonna just patiently wait for DW until it's shown, I think, and try to avoid spoilers. That way I can be surprised.
