Spoilers: None.
Summary: Spring by name, spring by nature.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The humans who colonised this world call it Spring; Amy thinks they chose the name well. The weather’s as balmy as the finest spring day on earth; warm sunshine, a few small, scattered wisps of cloud, a gentle breeze, and everywhere an abundance of green and growing things, a riot of colourful flowers.
Then there’s the native fauna. Small, fluffy creatures like dandelion clocks, tufty, feathery things, the planet’s equivalent of birds, larger grazing animals, even a few species of carnivores… None of them walk; they bounce or leap or bound. It’s dizzying to watch.
She can’t help but laugh.
The End

Here, spring flowers are usually yellow, white or purple. There are a few pink, but that's mostly tree blossom. I love flowers and gardening. Never seem to have time or health to do it these days though.

Date: 2016-02-15 08:41 pm (UTC)I love scented flowers, my favourite scent is honeysuckle, but I love roses, lilac, evening primroses... So many great scents.
A florist's would be great, but I have hay fever!

Date: 2016-02-16 12:21 pm (UTC)I have a bad alergic reaction to mosquito bites so I have a pill for that. For some reason its worser when I'm in Indonesia.
I was told by the a doctor that the mosquitos are attracted to my blood because its sweet. That I should eat foods like bitter melon.

Date: 2016-02-18 12:02 pm (UTC)It's surprising that birds, and probably bats too, can eat quite rotten fruit with no harmful effects, although if it's fermenting they sometimes get a bit drunk!

I hope that being intoxicated doesn't effect a bird or bat while flying.
