Summary: The Doctor and his companion are in peril. Again.

“Don’t worry!” the Doctor cries. “Everything’s under control, I know exactly what I’m doing!”

“You have a plan?”

“Yes! Well, no, not quite yet, but I will have. I always come up with a plan, I just don’t what it is yet.”

“If that’s meant to be comforting, it’s really not.”

“Oh come on! You humans, always panicking over nothing!”

“We’re about to die, I hardly think that’s nothing!”

“We’re not going to die. Where’s your sense of adventure?”

“It ran away and hid, which is what we should do!”

The Doctor never worries. He leaves that to his companions.

That's the Doctor for you. He makes things up as he goes along and leaves the champions to stress over the details because his too focus on the immediate threat.

Martha: In your own time, then.

Twelve: This is Clara. Not my assistant. She's… er… some other word.
Clara: I'm his carer.
Twelve: Yeah, my carer. She cares so I don't have to.

I loved it when Martha got "snarky" on Ten. It was a nice distraction from the "crush".

Twelve and Clara had didn't ways of looking at what a carer does. Although I guess in a way they are both right.

I'm a carer of my dad and he acts oblivious to alot of things. Which usually means I'm the one who has to worry about important stuff that needs to be done.

I know what that's like, I was carer for my mum for years before she passed away, I had to be on the alert for everything because she wasn't terribly sensible, especially after her stroke.

I imagined all the new Doctors and all their Companions having this conversation, and it really works! Especially the 10th Doctor and Donna, or the 11th with Amy and Rory.
