“How can these things exist without anyone seeing them? How many people have they killed?” Kathy had so many questions she hardly knew where to start.

“Lots of people see them, but who’d believe such a crazy story? They’re usually dismissed as people wearing masks. They live in the sewers, mostly do no harm. Occasionally one goes rogue, and sometimes someone gets killed. We do our best, but Weevils are the least of our problems. There are worse things.” For once, Harkness looked serious. “Your police deal with human criminals; let Torchwood deal with the aliens. That’s what we do.”

I think she might be glad now to hand this one off to someone else.

Mind you, she was pretty collected when confronting that weevil. Maybe there's an opening at Torchwood for her?

She might be more use as a police liaison, especially now she knows the score. They need someone in the police who can help smooth things over. Gwen has just antagonised her ex-colleagues.

I've always liked Kathy, too bad she wasn't utilized in the series more. RTD was too focused on Gwen.

Kathy would have made a much better addition to the team, she's everything a strong professional woman should be. Unlike Gwen, who is the opposite.

Jack is well, he was frank. Certainly it is not a diplomat, but I think Kathy needs no encapsulates the truth. She likes to say things clearly and seriously.

The direct approach is always the best with Kathy. When Jack drops the act they will get along better.
