Just dropped my rabbit off at the vet for dental surgery. Needless to say, I'm now sitting here worrying about him - it's a general anaesthetic and they're always risky, but it has to be done as his teeth have gone wonky AGAIN. This will be his third surgery in 5 1/2 years, all because the idiotic thing refuses to eat hay or grass or anything that would wear his teeth down. I've never known a rabbit to NOT like hay! Have to phone the vet at 3pm to see if he's ready to come home - until then, all I can do is wait and worry =(

He's a big old softy really, very good-natured and comical, just doesn't seem to understand that hay is food. Ah well, they do say pets become like their owners, so I'm not sure what that says about me lol!
