In case anyone is interested, I am now on AO3 (as well as everywhere else, lol), thanks to [livejournal.com profile] usakiwigirl who is all kinds of awesome!

All 13 of my fics (I wrote 13? Wow!) are now available there as well as on here, dreamwidth and ff.net. I think I have all bases covered!

And to avoid confusion (mostly mine, because if I changed it I'd never find myself again), my name is the same there as it is here.

I feel very accomplished =D

well done! I am still migrating my fics to DW and AO3 looks like a good option too now that FFnet is being a bit picky with ratings ...

I can't get a handle on DW, but I think that might me by browsers fault. Can I hire someone to import my stuff over there.

Lol. Whoo for getting everything bought over.

Well done you :-)
It took me long enough to get around to signing up to LJ - dont think I'll be joining you in migrating to the other sites for quite a while yet!

Congratulations! That site seems user-friendly and very organized--from a reader's perspective, at any rate. I've thought about signing up for an account but have been daunted by the long waiting list. Should I just put my name on it and hope for the best?

Eta: You mentioned possibly getting a Teaspoon account--I've got one of those. The plus side is that the quality of the fics overall tends to be higher than on, say, ff.net. The downside is that it doesn't seem like many Torchwood fans actually go there. My three Doctor Who fics there have garnered more reviews than all my TW fics put together. And the interface that lets you upload fics is quirky and painstaking (Or at least it was, I've slacked off posting there in the last few months.) For what it's worth.

I have an extra invite I sent you. Put my self of the waiting list moths ago with 2 email addresses. Hopefully that one will work.

Received... and it worked! Thank you so much! I registered quick before they could change their mind. LOL.

Yah!!! No problem. Guess its a good thing I used two email addresses. I was on the wait list for 2 or 3 months before I got my invites last month.

Yippee! I was able to get an invite months ago, and I'm still lurking there at the moment. I haven't even finished putting all my fics on DW yet! *groans* I've now decided that I'm not even going to bother with ff.net since this whole rating thing came up.

I'm at A03 under the same username by the way, in case you wanted to subscribe to me there (the link's located on the left-hand side of my LJ page). :)

I try to use the same username whenever I can, as I agree that it makes things easier. My Twitter and YouTube handles are different because I see those mediums as separate from fic writing.

A03's search engine isn't the most reliable, and I finally just searched the Torchwood feed until I found you! *gigglesnort* Just search the fandoms, and you'll likely find the authors you know. There's quite a few mutual friends who have gone to A03.

I wasn't aware there was an adult version of ff.net. I should consider looking into that, as I don't think there can be too many places to post stories. ;)

Thanks for the tip, I'll go look into it sometime.

Hope you slept well. If you're still wanting to look me up on A03, just check the links list on either my LJ or DW. If you click on either one, it should take you to my A03 homepage. :)

I'm on AO3 now, too; just got all my finished fics transferred, including ones that only saw the light of day on FFN, and the three unfinished ones are next I also started posting my current Wizard-verse fic over there too. I like AO3 a lot, if really just for the ability to download, especially with some of the issues I've had with Mediafire.

Yes, you can actually download, PDF, MOBI, ePub, and HTML, so you can choose how you want them. I've done both PDF and MOBI, and they work great.

You're welcome! I know MOBI works on my Kindle, but I don't know the kind of e-reader you have.
