Summary: The Origin of the Hub’s wall art.

Standing on the catwalk, Tosh dipped her brush in red paint and swept it across the bare wall. She tuned out the quiet sounds of the Hub in night mode, her entire concentration focussed on the image slowly taking shape before her. It was as though it already existed beneath the concrete’s surface; she was merely making it visible.

Dragons appeared in both Welsh and Japanese mythology, symbols of strength and power, yet elusive and mysterious. It seemed an appropriate emblem for Torchwood, an organisation as legendary and secretive as the winged creature. Perhaps it would bring them good fortune.

I read a fic a while back where Gwen and Ianto were cleaning the Hub (don't know why - presumably something alien exploded or something) and in the process they washed off Tosh's dragon painting and were really upset at it's loss because it was after Tosh and Owen had died. I don't remember details of the story. I think it was only a short fic or a drabble. Was it one of yours?

Not mine, but might have been for the 'worms' challenge, I remember reading it. Could've been scottishwillow, or m_findlow. It's so sad, nearly broke my heart.

It just feels like it would've been Tosh's work.

The pictures from the Torchwood set show something that looks more like a Chinese or Japanese dragon.
