Summary: Jack has planned a team outing, but he’s meeting with some resistance.

“Ugh!” said Tosh, staring at the wriggling tangle of worms. “No way I’m doing that!”

“Me neither,” Gwen agreed. “It’s disgusting!”

“But it’s fun!” whined Jack, looking around at the rest of the team as his carefully laid plans began to crumble.

“I’m in!” said Owen. “A relaxing afternoon is just what the doctor ordered.”

“That’s two for and two against. Ianto, yours is the deciding vote. Yes or no?”

“I think you misunderstood, Jack,” Ianto said. “No one’s objecting to the idea of fishing, just to the use of live worms as bait.”

The girls nodded. “That’s heartless cruelty!”

Well, I'm not too worried about the fish, there's not much chance of the team even getting close to catching anything, but the worms need saving! They'd stand no chance.

Yuck!
When I was younger I went to stay with my aunt and uncle. They were both keen fishermen. My aunt asked me to go and get some chips or something out of the freezer... and I was rather surprised to come face to face with a tub of frozen worms. Yuck!

I love worms, personally. I'm always rescuing them in the garden whenever possible. Worms are amazing. I wouldn't want frozen worms in the freezer though, that's just cruel.

Well, worms can be slimy but that's never bothered me. Not sure if live fish are slimy, but I don't think so. Frogs are definitely slimy =)
