Second fic for this week is another 6-parter, this one from March 2008. 2008 appears to be the Golden Age of Torchwood Fic!

The first of these two fics is very, very angsty with a rather depressed Ianto. I haven't finished it yet, last two chapters tonight hopefully.

Not started to read the second one yet, but the summary definitely capured my attention so I'm looking forward to it.

Oh yes, NCIS was brilliant! Some of Tony's backstory as a Baltimore Homicide Detective and his first meeting with Gibbs. Great episode, I loved it!

Oh that's fantastic!
I have not seen any shows lately. They usually show the re-runs every week, at least some nights on a cable channel here, USA. Every time I turn on the TV., Law&Order SVU. is on. I love that show too, but where is my Gibbs?!!! Tony?! McGee?!...oh and I miss Abby! LOL! They will show them again, they always do + I may have missed them because I am still watching my boxed sets of "house" which is not as good as NCIS, but just in a mood to view them. I am on Season 5 right now. I want to buy Season 6, but too broke to buy it right now so my "McGee" downloaded season 6 onto his computer and through the Network I can watch it. lol! There are things to be said for being married to a computer geek. LOL! I love my geek though, even though I did want to slap him a few minutes ago during a small argument. I don't think you can be in love with someone without arguing some though. Just means we care what each other thinks.

This was longer than I planned. Up way too late! Going to bed.

*hugs* Glad you're enjoying House! I'm on Season 5 of Stargate SG-1 now and still loving it - it's got me reading some SG-1 fanfic as well, which is not so good as I'm a bit behind with my Torchwood reading.

Don't think I'll do much today because of feeling tired and crappy, but I have Once Upon A Time to look forward to this evening, so that will be good.

Oh! I love "Once Upon a Time!" We don't see the new shows until this Fall, I think around September. The major networks always start the new shows back up in the fall and they have their last shows right before summer. I guess they figure with the kids out of school for the summer, people will be doing more things outside with their kids or whatever so they take a break. Well, I guess they are probably filming the new shows in the summer, come to think of it. They probably are having their break in the fall and winter while the new shows are being shown. Why am I blabbing on about this?! lol! I told you I was crazy. I will be glad to see the new season of NCIS too in the fall. I miss both shows so much! I guess they are my two favorite ones that are running currently. I like "Touch" too, but I am not sure how well the show is going to continue to do. I hope it stays on. I like it, but it is not as talked about as much as the other two + "Touch" has only had the one season I believe. ?

Last night's was episode 16, so I have quite a few weeks left of the first season of Once Upon A Time. With NCIS I think we're nearly at the end of the season, maybe another 2 or 3 weeks. I think the final season of CSI Miami will probably be on in place of NCIS on Wednesday nights. It's my least favourite CSI and I don't like any of them as much as NCIS, but it's an hour's light entertainment and will give me something reasonable to listen to while I cross stitch.

Just read the first two chapts of "So Far From Normal." Clicked the link and couldn't stop reading. I read your first two comments so far. I want to comment, but I hope to finish it. I hate to start these fics, comment, and never finish them. This one drew me in, but it is so troubling. Poor Ianto. Need to read the rest of the funny one from last week first. I am such a mess. lol! Talk to you later.

(I don't personally believe that Jack does sleep around that way, at least not when he's in a relationship. Jack's perfectly capable of monagamy when he cares enough about someone, he's even been married before. Sometimes he gets written as some sort of sex addict, which is daft. He flirts, that's the way he is, but that doesn't mean he sleeps with everyone he flirts with, or even that he wants to. Flirting is a useful tool, it puts people at ease, makes them want to be helpful, or just distracts them from what's happening around them.)

Yeah, just curious as to where it is going, but haven't read any further. It is a wonder I ever finish any I start. Right now is very difficult of course. I feel awful. Michael got so worried about me he actually texted Dr. Marshall's cell. He called back and we are seeing him in the the morning at 11 a.m. Not that long. I need to go to bed.

I feel sick to my stomach from withdrawls + pain + depresssion. I haven't left the house since last Sat. night when we visited my parents. I hope Dr. Marshall can help me tomorrow (Friday.) Maybe a new antidepressant for my neuropain which also will help the depression, I hope. He said the oapides I'm taking always cause depression. I don't know how I am suppose to deal with the pain without them?...and I can't get into see the pain people till the first of Aug., so we are desperate for some help. Another month in hell is just too much. I just hate that it takes the old type antidepressants 2 weeks to work, better than a month I guess. :( Oh the lamictal should be out of my system by this Saturday, so shouldn't be a problem starting a new med this weekend, I hope.

You're gonna get through this. I know how difficult you're finding everything, but you have a lot of people on your side. Dr Marshall sounds like he's really trying, and hopefully you'll be on a new antidepressant soon. 1st of August is just under 3 weeks away, so not as long as you've been thinking. I hope the time flies by for you and that they have the answers for your pain.
