Summary: Jack buys the Fluffs a new toy.

A/N: My third drabble for today, and my seventh for this challenge. I feel like I’m finally starting to get back into the swing of drabbling after only managing to squeeze out one or two for each of the last few prompts. Admittedly it’s a bit harder now that I’m juggling a bunch of writing challenges, but I love writing drabbles so I’ll find the time somewhere.

Jack, genius that he was, had bought the Fluffs a blackboard and easel, setting it up in their play area. Once he’d managed to persuade little Dizzy that the chalk was NOT for eating, they’d taken to it like… Well, like Fluffs took to most things. That is to say, with a great deal of enthusiasm and mixed results.

They’d drawn wonky pictures over every inch, and when it was covered they’d cleaned it off so they could start again.

Jack looked at the spotless blackboard, then at the mucky, chalk-dust covered Fluffs.

“Board cleaner! I knew I’d forgotten something.”

Bless Jack's good intentions but maybe in the future he should leave fluff entertainment to Ianto.

I suppose grooming would save on wet Fluffs running around the Hub. I think Ianto might get mad at them and put them to work with buckets and mops while he tracked down Jack. *grins*

I think Jack would get them dry before letting them out of the bathroom though. Fluffs don't much enjoy being soggy, lol!

That's the truth, especially if they don't want Ianto to show up behind them upset about something. *snickers*

I can't imagine Nosy tracking water all over the Hub either. It seems to take after Ianto for wanting to keep the place clean. :)

I think Nosy would just slump on the bathroom floor in a pool of water, looking glum and soggy, waiting to be dried. Wet fluff would be heavy.

I think a wet Fluff might be one of the saddest things I've ever pictured.

It's a sorry sight indeed, all limp and splatted on the floor, like a wet feather boa. And Fluffs are really good at looking pathetic...
