Summary: Suzie’s plan has worked; she’s getting a whole new life.

A/N: The second of my three drabbles today!

Her plan has worked like a charm, even though it had meant being dead for a time. That part hadn’t been pleasant, but it was worth it.

She’d taken her revenge against her father, stealing away what little life he had left; now she’d take someone else’s.

Cooper slumped in the seat beside her, life slipping away second by second. Suzie felt it filling her to the brim. Jack would be after her, but he’d be too late.

The coast, the ferry, then hello new life! Death had wiped the slate clean; she could be whoever she wanted to be.

Thank you! I haven't written a lot with Suzie, but I find her really fascinating to write for, she's so complex and so warped.

I'm always intrigued by Suzie. You get the feeling she had the potential to be a great character and a good person who made mistakes (not unlike most of the team) who could've found redemption somehow. Reading long time dead really ruined it a bit for me becuase she just ended up really nasty and selfish.

I like to think Suzie WAS a good, decent person, probably a bit damaged even before she joined Torchwood, but then the glove latched onto her, twisting and warping her for its own purposes and she was lost. It wasn't designed for use by humans, so I guess the human mind isn't strong enough to control it and gets taken over without even the person being taken over having any idea that it's happening.

I see Suzie as a victim of alien technology just as much as Lisa was. Maybe she could have been saved, but then she would have been left with the guilt for all those she killed. It would have been fascinating to see Torchwood trying to save her from herself and from the glove's influence.

That glove really did a job on Suzy, would like to believe she was good before she got that thing.

I think she was. But the glove's not designed for humans,. we're not strong enough to control it, so she was overwhelmed and twisted by it. Poor Suzie, she was a victim too.

I like trying to get into post-glove Suzie's head and figure out what might be going on in there. She's an interesting character.
