Title: Whoever She Wanted To Be
Author: badly_knitted
Characters: Suzie, mentions Gwen and Jack
Rating: PG
Written For: Challenge 325 – Clean Slate at tw100
Spoilers: Everything Changes, They Keep Killing Suzie.
Summary: Suzie’s plan has worked; she’s getting a whole new life.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
A/N: The second of my three drabbles today!
Her plan has worked like a charm, even though it had meant being dead for a time. That part hadn’t been pleasant, but it was worth it.
She’d taken her revenge against her father, stealing away what little life he had left; now she’d take someone else’s.
Cooper slumped in the seat beside her, life slipping away second by second. Suzie felt it filling her to the brim. Jack would be after her, but he’d be too late.
The coast, the ferry, then hello new life! Death had wiped the slate clean; she could be whoever she wanted to be.
The End

Date: 2015-01-12 07:38 am (UTC)I'm always intrigued by Suzie. You get the feeling she had the potential to be a great character and a good person who made mistakes (not unlike most of the team) who could've found redemption somehow. Reading long time dead really ruined it a bit for me becuase she just ended up really nasty and selfish.

Date: 2015-01-12 12:56 pm (UTC)I see Suzie as a victim of alien technology just as much as Lisa was. Maybe she could have been saved, but then she would have been left with the guilt for all those she killed. It would have been fascinating to see Torchwood trying to save her from herself and from the glove's influence.
Thank you!
