Fic Of The Week - Week Twenty One

So, how did everyone get on with miss_shine 's Life: Jack's Story? Yes, there are spelling/punctuation/grammar issues (dyslexia + no beta = a sometimes puzzling read), but overall I felt the story was well worth the effort, heart-wrenching and angsty. If the author were writing it now, I probably would have volunteered to beta it!

Now, since some of you may have already finished reading the trilogy, here's a second fic, something to keep you entertained while the rest of us catch up.

Stepping Into The Real World is a 5 chapter fic by jo19844  from way back in April 2007. It's set between Cyberwoman and They Keep Killing Suzie.

Summary: The team decide it's time to join the real word, but Ianto doesn't seem to think a date night is the way to do it.

You might have missed this one because it's on her original journal before she started her fic journal, where most of her Torchwood fics live.

The little five parter by jo19844 listed in this post, apparently - I haven't read it yet myself, by I plan to soon! That's the thing with the fics I pick - I haven't read them so I have no idea what I'mm gonna get! Drunk ianto is always fun though =)

I've read the first 3 parts and he's not drunk yet. Sloshed Tosh was very funny though! Also some really good dialogue between Jack and Ianto. I'm liking this one a lot =)
