Summary: Why do mornings have to be so early?

Mornings. In Ianto’s opinion, they always arrived way too early and winter mornings were by far the worst. Plus his alarm clock always sounded so bloody cheerful he just wanted to smash it. Of course he’d have to find the damn thing first.

Sticking one hand out into the chilly air of his bedroom, he flailed about a bit, only succeeding in knocked the annoying thing onto the floor. Well, at least that shut it up. Pulling the covers further over his head, he resolutely hid from the day.

Beside him, Jack laughed.

“Really not a morning person, are you?”

And Jack is the only one privileged to see Ianto in all his morning fumbling. LOL!

Everyone else thinks he jumps up when the alarm goes off and is showered and suited by the time the coffee machine has finished brewing perfect coffee. Only Jack knows Ianto greets the day with a bleary-eyed scowl, stumbles off the bed (eventually) dragging half the covers with him and walks into the door frame because his eyes are shut. *grins* Jack thinks it's adorable.

OMG! That is soooo me. The only good thing about waking up on a cold morning (like today) is throwing the alarm clock across the room (after turning it off of course), hunkering down into the warm blankets and waiting for someone to bring some coffee. I'm with Ianto on this!

I had to get up at 7 to give mum her antibiotics and start my day. I think I maybe had five and a half hours sleep. I feel like a sleepwalking zombie and the cold, wet weather isn't helping. Mornings should be banned.

The best that Jack can do is call the team to say he´s sick and stay in bed with Ianto. I´d do that.

in spite of being a vampire, I am a morning person but I think I can change my mind if I had a Jack in my bed ...
oh sorry, I was dreaming, Jack would prefer a sleepy Ianto for sure!

I'd rather stay in bed, I hate getting up because I never get enough sleep.
