Fic Of The Week - Week One Hundred And Forty Nine

I'm late and way behind, but I'm here! Due to Circumstances (also known as Contest Week over at fic_promptly) I still haven't read last week's fic. In fact I haven't even started to read it! Oh dear. o_O

With that in mind, this week's Fic of the Week will be even shorter, in order to give me a realistic chance to catch up with myself.

Kissing Ianto Jones is a two-part fic by madder_rose from September 2009 and is a Torchwood version of the movie Kissing Jessica Stein. I've never seen the movie, but the fic looks good.

Summary: Ianto Jones responds to what he thinks is a personal ad in the women’s section of the paper. Little does he realize that the person who posted the ad is attractive, funny and desperately lonely Jack Harkness who’s anything but a woman.

Boy, is Ianto in for a surprise!

(In case anyone is interested, I wrote 42 prompt fills during Contest Week, ranging in length from 200 words to 955. 23 for Torchwood, 9 for Doctor Who and 6 each for FAKE and BtVS. All will eventually get posted here and on my other journals, but I suspect that's going to take a while, lol! In the meantime, does anyone happen to know of any communities for BtVS fics?)

I enjoyed it too, though I felt like shaking Ianto a few times for hurting Jack. He got thing right in the end =)

Now I just have to read last week's!
