Hello, everyone, it's Fic of the Week time again! Still staying with the short fics at the moment, but be warned - this one might not be to everyone's tastes as it features prostitution (Jack).

House Of The Rising Sun is a 4-part fic from September 2008, written by kyn_moonlight. It's rated NC-17 for explicit adult content.

Summary: Jack’s recalled to active service by the Time Agency, but when he doesn’t come home, Ianto has to go bring him back from his undercover assignment… in a house of prostitution.

I love anything that has Ianto having to rescue Jack, so this idea intrigues me. I hope I won't be the only one it appeals to.

Wow! Thanks for the rec! Sometimes looking back, I think the stuff I did for Kink Bingo stretched plausibility too far for the sake of the prompts, so it's awesome to not only hear that people liked it, but that that it sill holds up after time. Yay!

LOL! 90% of the fics I rec and comment on these days nnever get replies at all, it's nice to find an author who still exists and can manage to find time in a busy life to reply, that's becoming increasingly rare!

I think most of the best Torchwood fics are the older ones, so few people are writing these days some weeks I almost seem to be alone, everyone's vanished or drifted off to other fandoms. I'm just the stubborn holdout who refuses to give up, lol! The least I can do is rec the older fics in order to encourage and maybe inspire the newer fans.I live in hope of the fandom having a resurgence in popularity.
