Summary: When he’d vowed to do whatever it took to protect Lisa, he didn’t know what it would cost him.

A/N: For the prompt ‘Blurred Lines’, one of the prompts I didn’t get around to using for tw100’s challenge 292: Billboard Hot 100 last year. I’ve dug them out again to supplement the prompts I got from my f-list, just because there are still loads I wanted to use.

Sleeping with Jack started out as a means to an end, a way to keep the man distracted; it kept Jack’s attention away from things Ianto didn’t want discovered.

He knew Lisa’s life was at stake, had no illusions about what Jack would do if he found her, so he used whatever means necessary to protect her.

But somewhere along the way, the lines had blurred. He found himself craving the intimacy, the touch of another person, all the things Lisa couldn’t provide in her condition.

The guilt was killing him. He loved two people, but was betraying them both.

Thank you! I'm constantly surprised by how much can fit in 100 words if I'm just careful of how I phrase things. Drabbles are such a fun way to challenge myself.

Ianto was in a horrible situation, still loving Lisa but falling for Jack too. He didn't know which way to turn.

He does need huggles. Poor boy is so confused, he wasn't supposed to fall for Jack, but Jack isn't at all what he expected from the rumours at Torchwood One.

Now this is a sad situation... so no matter how sad the situation is later, at least this dilemma came to an end :(

Poor Ianto landed himself in as VERY tough position, loving two people at the same time. Losing Lisa hurt him, but at least Jack was there to help him put his life back together.

I feel for ianto so much in this situation.
At least Jack was there to help him put himself back together and he really seemed to understand Ianto's pain and dilemma.
Ianto could so easily have lost them both.

Once Jack got over his initial anger, I think he understood that Ianto had been acting out of love and a certain amount of ignorance rather than any malice. I'm sure he understands far more than Ianto realised, and it gave them common ground to build on.
