I wanted to get myself a Chlorite in Quartz crystal as they're supposed to be good for panic attacks (which I've suffered with for many years) so I went looking online to see what I could find, and I found this one...



 






















For some unknown reason, I found it irresistible, so I bought it. I don't know if it will help the panic attacks, but it's certainly brightened my day!

I took one look at it and got this really silly grin on my face! Sadly, it's not nearly as big as it looks in the picture, but it's certainly an interesting shape... Lol!

Well, that was the reason I wanted a Chlorite in Quartz, but I'll admit to having ulterior motives for picking this particular one... Of course, in choosing Crystals it's advisable to pick one that you feel drawn to... I'm just not sure if the reason I was drawn to this one will make it effective against panic attacks, lol!

No bed for a couple of hours yet *sigh* I'm tired and I have a headache. Not unhappy though. I can't eat chocolate to cheer me up, it just gives me a migraine. I buy crystals instead. Mum and I have been shopping at an online crystal shop - we both had some birthday money left so we decided to spend a bit on some pretties. The list of things I liked was so huge I had to cross a lot off, lol!

Think I might relax and read a bit until my final pills. Glad you're feeling a bit better *hugs*

I'm sorry about your headache. Seems we both have it hard a lot.

Sorry about the chocolate. Something in it seems to bring my mood up. I don't think it is just the taste; it is like a drug. A legal one! lol! Caffeine, sugar, some chemical in there....just brings me up. Some people crash from it. Occasionally I do, but I really think it helps me and I don't need to eat much for it to work. Thank goodness! I don't want to gain anymore weight. Well the coffee is practically calorie free. :D I do put some milk in it though. lol!

I'm glad the crystals help you so much. Sounds like you have been having big fun with your mum buying them. :)

Ok, relax and enjoy your fic. I guess I am off to wash some more clothes, OH JOY!...maybe Michael and I will do something later.

We haven't been extravagant (though it would be easy), just bought a few each. I try not to spend all my birthday money at once. It's nice to just be able to treat myself now and then.

Chocolate is very good for improving moods and I used to enjoy it, but then the migraines started getting worse and now I can't eat it without getting a headache. Just something I have to live with. I'm hoping the migraines might go away once I'm through menopause.

I managed to read one fic, don't think I'll have time for any more tonight though. Got a few other things to do before bed. Hope I sleep better tonight!

Hope you and Michael get to enjoy yourselves later, maybe watching TV or something. *weary hugs*

I understand about being extravagant. I need new clothes for the summer and our trip to the beach, but I can't spend too much. It will be an exspensive trip. I wish I could order all my clothes like you order your crystals. LOL! I do have $100.00 dollars from Christmas I have been saving and some gift certificates too. Not sure how much they gave me. lol! I must push myself out though. I hate trying on stuff and facing people mostly.

It's the only way to get clothes that actually fit though, so it's got to be done. Wish I could be there for you, we'd shop and giggle and be girly and find the fun we used to get from shopping for clothes. I really used to enjoy it, I'd go with my best friend and we'd try on loads of stuff and it would actually be FUN! What happened to those days? Of course, back then there were loads of small boutiques, now it seems to be all big department stores. Really not fun now.

I wish you were here too. You sound just like me, well most girls. lol! We could have so much fun. I used to go out with my best friend too and do the same thing! Loads of clothes in our arms to try on. Some things worked, others I looked horrible in, but when I found stuff that really looked good I felt so good!

I don't talk to my best friend anymore. Somehow we drifted apart once we got married. We grew up togehter.

I have an idea you and I would have the best time together, maybe even better. Can you fly over here for a few days?! lol! I know...keep dreaming debbie!

I like girl shopping. I think it is not as much fun to go alone + I'm a little scared now. Like you said, what happened?? I wish I wasn't like this....and....

...of course a bunch of bills came up we weren't expecting this month and I have been using my money for food, grociers, and it is slowly disappearing. I only get paid two more times before vacation and the last one is a week before we leave and I don't want to be going nuts trying to shop at the last minute. So as soon as I get my check at the end of this month, I have no choice, I HAVE to shop or forget it!...that would be bad because then I will have to wear old, out of style shorts, and bathing suits that now make me look like a Macy's Day Parade Balloon!.... or maybe just Shamu :D .......sorry, I surely don't look that bad. *grin*

Oh, I know what you mean about unexpected bills - just got my car tax demand through this morning, that's another £130! Good thing I've been saving up over the last year so I can afford it. Next it will be the car insurance and I have no idea how expensive that will be this year. It's gone up so much the last couple of years, ever since the law was changed so insurance companies can't offer cheaper insurance to women drivers anymore.

I know times are hard with money and my husband as I have said buys way too many expensive boy toys! lol! Computer stuff. So it is hard for us to go anywhere that is expensive and I feel quilty for buying anything. I told you I ordered some nice underwear, not that expensive, though nice, and I felt guilty and afraid we might not have enough money to get through the month. That is just silly when he buys whatever he wants. Oh I am husband bashing again. Sorry. We really are lucky that Alex has grandparents' that buy clothes for him or it would be much worse. Not sure I would ever buy much for myself. I would have to start wearing trash bags around. lol! Ok, I am exaggerating a-bit. :)

Oh that is just ridiculous! Women statistically have fewer wrecks than men do...what jerks! The economy must be bad in the UK. too. It is awful here and our dumbass president!...oops! is only making things worse. I hope we can kick him out this fall or I can only imagine it will get worse. :(

The British government - national AND local - asre a bunch of morons!

We're deep in recession here, record numbers of people out of work, no jobs to be had even by the able-bodied. So, locally, a load of shops are being closed (the local government is making no effort to find them alternate premises despite the number of empty shop spaces that litter the main shopping street) in order to make way for a tram system that is going to be of no use to the people living locally and will cost billions! We're losing the multi-storey car park, the bus station, the public loos, and some of the most popular shops, all for something we don't even want. I'm so angry, we'll end up with nothing and it's the only shopping area I can get to. The whole area is being ruined and it will mean people who live where we do will be able to get a bus down to what shops are left, but won't be able to get a bus back, they'll have to use taxis. They won't even be able to use the tram.

It IS pretty - it's also a rather suggestive shape, which might have influenced my choice! There were others, but somehow this one stood out (pun possibly intended).

I just sent part one back betaed - sorry it's a bit late, but doctor's appointment for blood tests yesterday, then a bit of shopping, by the time I got home I was done in. I'll be faster on the other parts (I hope!)

Lol! They come in all shapes and sizes, but suggestively shaped crystals aren't something I'm used to seeing! Of course, being me, I often think they look like something - I bought one for mum that looked like an owl's head. Of course, you can get crystals that have been carved into animal shapes, but I don't know if any are deliberately carved into... um.... rather phallic shapes, lol!

Amber's getting really pricey these days. You can get it, but a lot of it is fairly new rather than the old fossil pieces. Still lovely though. Pieces with insects in command exorbitant prices, even if they're small!

So do I! I use other crystals for panic attacks, and they help most of the time, but Chlorite in Quartz is one of the newer discoveries so I'm hoping it will help with the worst panic attacks that nothing seems to help with so far.

And of course, the interesting shape doesn't hurt either! ;)
