“Come on then, I’m waiting.” Kate’s voice echoed in the darkness.

“For what?”

“What movie does this remind you of? I mean, you have movie references ready for everything that’s ever happened to anybody, so where is it?”

“Well I’m sorry to disappoint you, Kate,” Tony’s voice was sharp enough to cut glass. “Because off the top of my head I can’t think of a single movie where two people get wedged upside down inside a giant replica of a PENIS!”

“Thank God, ‘cause that’s a movie I never want to see!”

“And get your elbow out of my ear!”

Wha...? How? WHY?

I actually have no idea - I just followed the prompt and tried to come up with a situation that I'm pretty sure has NEVER happened in a movie. Maybe it's one of those weird 'sculptures' artists create sometimes and they fell in?

The challenge was to write in a fandom you'd never written. It never said it had to make sense. Maybe it's Tont's nightmare?

LOL! There are going to be a LOT of jokes at their expense, I'm sure.

McGee will never let them forget it, and probably take pictures to send to Abby. Gibbs will probably raise his eyebrows, then make a sly comment a few days later with that cheeky little smile of his.

You've reminded me how much I miss Kate. She was amazing.

She had her good points and her bad points. I tend to be more interested in the male characters though. And Abby, because I adore her. Ducky and Gibbs are my other favourites.

Ducky always has something to share. He's lived a very interesting life.

Kate was so much better than Blackadder, the girl in the pilot, and Bishop. I really liked her (although I think my favourite episode of hers was the one after she died, where they were all seeing visions of her).

I liked the one where Tony got the plague and Kate stayed with him.

That one said so much about their relationship, cemented the bond between them, it's hard to believe they offed her in the very next episode.

That's the way it goes in TV though, isn't it. Characters getting killed off unexpectedly. I try not to care about TV characters these days because everyone seems intent on killing them for 'dramatic purposes'.

I fear the day David McCallum decides to retire. It won't be the same without Ducky. NCIS is the only show that's been going long enough that I care about the characters. Except Supernatural, but death means nothing there. All the important (read: awesome) dead people reappear at some point.

I am SO far behind with Supernatural. Maybe one day I'll get past season 2.

When Ducky had his heart attack and I though he died, I was devastated. Not as much as with Ianto, but still, Ducky is such an important part of the show.

TWO? Then you haven't met Cas?! Or Balthazar, or Gabriel, or Crowley... Yeah, you really need to meet the awesome crowd of angels (and demon).

I thought the same with Ducky's heart attack. He's not exactly a spring chicken, after all. I worry almost constantly about McGee too: he keeps getting himself into ridiculously dangerous situations. Gibbs I don't worry about, only because Mark Harmon isn't going to leave. Ever. And because Gibbs is too awesome to die: that's far too mundane for him.

Gibbs is a force of nature. Death would take one look at him and run the other way, lol!

McGee is too gullible at times. He really needs to be more wary. Abs can take care of herself, as she constantly proves.

The terrestrial TV stations stopped showing Supernatural halfway through season 2. I can't afford Sky, so I got left behind. I haven't met Cas and co. on the show, but I've betaed some Cas fics - mostly Cas/Meg.

Cas/Meg is a weird combination that has to be very, very well done (and probably one of the closest things to canon you'll find). I used to watch them on DVD with a friend. When I went to uni, I discovered the intriguing, legal grey area that is torrents. Thus I met Cas and his brothers. You may or may not have met one, depending on how far through S2 you got (but I'm not telling you any more, because it would spoil the surprise).

McGee is becoming a lot less gullible as time goes on. You wait until you see the episode from a couple of weeks ago - he's certainly not as innocent as Tony thought! Abby is completely amazing, and I love how well she can hog-tie a grown man. But I now really, really want to write something with Gibbs meeting Death (another brilliant Supernatural character).

LOL! It would not go well for death, I think. He'd probably get head-slapped!

I'm sticking with DVDs because I find having something I can see and handle a lot easier to deal with, lol!

Entirely possible. Although, if it was Discworld Death, they'd probably just have a curry instead.

Actually, methods of appeasing Supernatural Death are pretty similar, to be honest... (He first appears at the end of Season 5, for when you get there.)

I've read a couple of fics with Jack and Discworld's Death - they're always a good read!

I believe they played chess quite a lot, and other games. Every time Jack died they found ways to pass the time until he revived again.

Another fandom I know nothing about, but I enjoyed the story.

I like NCIS, been watching it for years. Normally I wouldn't consider writing it, but the challenge that day was to write in a fandom you'd never written, so I had to dig through the few familiar fandoms and see if I could find something I could write. I think I was influenced by an icon somewhere over there uses, lol! In the drabble though, I've decided the item they're stuck in is some sort of display model at a medical conference.
