Ianto made it through Round 3, but now is where things start getting tough for our boy!
Round 4 is open for voting and this time Ianto is up against Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy! We can't let him lose to a raccoon (or whatever Rocket is)! Voting is tight, Ianto is just holding the lead at present with 53.58% This one could be tight, folks! Ianto needs all the votes he can get!

Date: 2014-09-26 10:45 am (UTC)Next round looks like being very tough as Ianto will be up against Spock, who's so far polled far more than Kirk. While Jack will be against either Yoda or Mal Reynolds (their vote is too close to know which way it'll go - Yoda 50.78 and Mal 49.22). I think Jack might win against Mal, but Yoda could be tough. It will also be the Doctor versus Captain Picard. Not sure how that one will go.

If nothing else, this poll is proving that Ianto is still very popular, even 5 years after his 'death'

Date: 2014-09-26 12:45 am (UTC)Happily, too, Ianto is comfortably ahead of Rocket, and Rose looks like finally getting bumped out of the comp, as she is pitted against the Doctor.
Sadly, it looks like Ianto will be against the Doctor in the next round, assuming he wins this round, and I suspect that might be the knock-out blow.
Frankly, I think it's a bit unfair, because you'll get fans of all thirteen (?) actors who have played the Doctor so far voting for him, while every other character is just the one actor. Really, the Doctor has a x13 advantage. :(

Either way, Spock or The Doctor, it's going to be a difficult round for Ianto. I can't honestly see anyone beating the Doctor. You're right, he has a massively unfair advantage.

Did you notice that Ianto beat out Rick Deckard? I'm so proud of him! Blade Runner is an iconic movie, but Ianto Jones triumphed!
