He seems to be doing very well against her, so far. I was so glad he came out ahead of Gwen. Is he not the most beloved character if all of fandom? Well, he is in my house, anyway. :)

I have to admit, I haven't even ever heard of some of the characters on there, but I go with the ones I know and like.

You don't know Galaxy Quest? Really? Rent yourself a movie, or whatever it is you do over there. It's one of my fav movies, too. I even bought the DVD, and I am very picky about what DVD's I buy.

They all got voted out, so I don't remember, but maybe nobody else knew who they were, either.

These are shows I've not seen yet:

Guardians of the Galaxy (Looking forward to this one)

Orphan Black (Not interested)

The Hunger Games (Read the books, though. I think I would be disappointed in the movies. What I saw in my imagination, how can they translate that to a movie? Besides, the guy who plays Peeta? I don't think so!)

Iron Man (not sure if I care about seeing this or not.)

Oh, yeah. I want to see Guardians of the Galaxy, too. Looks fun.

The Hunger Games were riveting reading, but disturbing. Not as much as The Girl with The Dragon Tatoo books, but still disturbing. I was kind of surprised they were considered young adult.

Oh, I am so going to look that one up. There are three Girl With books, each more disturbing than the last. Swedes apparently like really intense fiction, with lots of abuse and violence and gore. I've seen other books by Swedish authors, not just basing it on those three. There is at least one movie, too, but not as good as the book, only because your imagination can conjure up more interesting images than movie makers, apparently. Mine can, anyway. LOL Now that I think of it, I rarely like a movie after I've read the book. If I see it before hand, then it can go either way, depending on how much I liked the movie. I guess I'm just a reader, through and through. Have spent my life since I learned to read, reading everything I can get my hands on.

Oh, I saw the Swedish movie (subtitles), not the Daniel Craig one. American versions are always worse, I've found. (See 'Miracle Day')

I like mysteries, but I'll read pretty much anything except 'had I but knowns'. A lot of nonfiction. There is some really interesting stuff out there.

I have a lot of time to read. Only responsible for feeding the cat, and being ill means I am not very mobile most of the time anyway. And omg does tv suck. Books (and fan fiction) are my saviour. I love my Kindle Reader. Best money I ever spent. I'm a really fast reader, too, so that helps. Practice makes perfect, I guess. LOL

Yeah, it's all about the words, isn't it? That's what I don't love above book-to-movie, so much of what is not dialogue is just gone. It's that, though, that makes a book so amazing. Not just what people say in it. And special effects, especially, are never as good as one's own imagination.

I know. I vote for him, too. I like Jack. Sometime. :)

Oh, me, too. Jack has some ambivalence about him that I find disturbing sometimes. It's really hard to tell what he's thinking/feeling, the way he's written and portrayed by JB. I think with Ianto, he is who he is, and circumstances can dictate his behaviour, but not his truth. I love stories that show him as the clever, loving, and courageous man he is, and not so much woobie-Ianto.

Jack and Ianto are streets ahead against their respective opponents. I dread the comp coming down to the two of them.... :P

It would be fantastic for Torchwood if Jack and Ianto were the last ones left in the comp.

My heart definitely lies with Ianto, and I'm surprised, after all this time, that I still haven't forgiven Jack for how badly he treated Ianto in CoE.

I know it was the writers' fault and that our-Jack would have treated him better given half a chance, but still, bad Jack, you will be voted off the island out if it comes down to that.

I've got a bad feeling this will come down to Ianto or Jack.
