There are some other of my childhood favourites in the running too - Zaphod Beeblebrox along with Arthur and Marvin, and also Dave Lister.
Lister, Zaphod and Marvin are all loosing badly. Lister to Sarah-Jane which I guess I can live with. The others are loosing to Firefly people which is definitely not on! H2G2 is one of the best sci-fis ever. People have no taste (although I guess the people who voted firefly would say I have no taste.)
At least it will make it easier for me in later rounds if my childhood heroes go out early. It will be Jack and Ianto all the way for me then :-)

In group 8, aside from Ianto and the other one, I know Roy Batty (Blade Runner) Abby (Primeval) and K (Tommy Lee Jones in Men In Black) but not the others.
