Half A Century! O.O
Feb. 19th, 2012 11:36 amWell, I made it!
Can't quite believe it!
I'm 50 today!
Half a Century old o.O
Thank you to everyone who sent V-Gifts, messages and cards, I'll do a proper thank you post later - or tomorrow, as there are supposed to be visitors arriving shortly and I'll have to entertain them instead of chatting to my friends online, lol!

Date: 2012-02-28 11:38 pm (UTC)Yes in Countrycide, he was afraid, but he did what had to be done and fought well for Tosh and himself. I was so proud of him. He is a great character, probably one of the reasons it hurt so much to lose him. :( ...though I must confess, I loved Jack saving the day in that episode. It was Ianto's first mission, but how many newbies could handle such horrible people the first time out?! I would have folded up in a ball on the floor probably. lol! He did not.
I like Jack and Ianto taking care of each other. :)

Date: 2012-02-28 11:56 pm (UTC)I agree, Countrycide showed Ianto's courage in the face of something truly horrific, but he held himself together and helped Tosh escape. It brought them enough time for Jack to come to the rescue in true hero fashion!
I decided long ago that apart from fix-it fics, I would ignore CoE - Ianto lives! I refuse to accept that he died. Yes, I am in complete denial - Ianto and Jack are alive, immortal and at it like bunnies on every available surface! =)

Date: 2012-02-29 09:56 pm (UTC)Even when I watch some of COE (I know I must be shot) I only watch up to before he dies usually. He is such a hero and does some really good acting even if RTD F&*^! it up! I have a wallpaper from a capture I took of Ianto holding Jack after he had been shot. Sooooooooo sweet, he loves Jack no matter what he had done in the past. It is just like my icon.
I'm not sure if I have read any fix-it-fics. I would like to.
The only other way I can take Ianto dying is in some of the videos on youtube, depends on how they do it and if I am in a mood to cry. I get like that. lol!
Yes!...but Ianto lives on with Jack and that is the only way I want to think of them and the "only" fics I want to read, otherwise I just get sick.
