Ryo looked at Bikky and sighed, shaking his head.

“Look at you! You’re growing like a weed! I swear you’ve grown another inch overnight. It’s no good; you need new clothes.”

Bikky groaned theatrically.

“Aw, c’mon Ryo, please don’t drag me out shopping! I was gonna go skating with Carol, it’s all planned!”

“If you’re not with me, then how do I know what to buy? I could come back with things that aren’t cool and don’t fit,” Ryo replied reasonably. “If we leave now, we’ll probably be home by lunchtime.”

“Oh man, this really sucks! I hate my life!”

Poor ryo.

Kids, especially young boys, do NOT like shopping for clothes. Ryo is stubborn though. Bikky will go shopping, get new clothes and be grateful. He is really, he knows how lucky he was that Ryo took him in, and he does love Ryo. Bikky is basically a good kid, but he's not had a good upbringing until now so he's a bit rough around the edges. He'll turn out okay.
