Summary: Ianto meets the rest of the team for the first time

“Report for work first thing tomorrow,” he’d been told.

Ianto straightened his tie, stepping into the Tourist Office. Harkness was waiting for him.

“This way, Jones.”

Along a corridor, down in a lift, through a cog-shaped door and he was in.

“Okay everybody, meet Ianto Jones; he’s here to keep us organised. Jones, meet the team. Our medic, Owen Harper.” A weasel-faced man nodded at him. “Tech genius Toshiko Sato.” A pretty Asian woman smiled shyly. “Last but not least, my second-in-command Suzie Costello.”

Hard, suspicious eyes. She might be a problem. Only time would tell.

Ianto smiled politely.

“Hello.”

Yeah, and he must have worked with her for several months before her first death, I think she wss even more of a danger to Ianto's plans than Jack was, she'd be harder to distract.

Yup Suzie was a problem, but not in the way he thought she might be. Ianto was able to pull the wool over her eyes and keep Lisa hidden, but unfortunately he was too busy with his own secret to see hers. (Not sure what excuse the others have for being so oblivious to what Suzie was up to though.)

Ianto was right to be wary of her though, he would have found ways to avoid drawing her attention I'm sure.

The others had their own problems and issues I guess. Owen was too busy chasing women while still grieving over Katie, Tosh was recovering from her own traumas, Jack was busy ogling Ianto and Ianto was intent on protecting Lisa.
