Summary: Ianto’s feeling let down…

As Ianto checked his shopping list, a diminutive young woman approached him.

“Excuse me, could you pass me a packet of those crackers from the top shelf, please?”

“No problem.”

Naturally, the crackers were right at the back of the shelf. Despite his height, even Ianto had to stretch up on tiptoes to reach them. As he did so, he felt a strange twanging sensation. He couldn’t think what it might be, until he became aware of a sudden draft as his trousers dropped around his ankles.

His belt had snapped.

“That’s why I wear braces,” Jack commented unhelpfully, smirking.

Tstt tstt... Jack isn't very charitable and I suspect he does more than enjoy the view. Naughty Jack!

And I would remind him Henry Fonda's quote in the film Once upon a time in the West who says to never trust a man who wears a belt AND braces, because you can't trust a man who doesn't trust his own trousers.

Does it means Ianto is trustworthy and Jack is not? Hum... I wonder... lol

LOL! Well, we all know that Jack cheats, so he can't really be called trustworthy. Maybe Jack wears belt and braces more because he doesn't trust himself, lol!

I'm sure Jack enjoyed the view, I just hope he stopped drooling long enough to help Ianto make himself presentasble again!

Jack would laugh even if it was his own trousers that fell down, he has no shame.

I will try to think of a suitable punishment for Jack, but I don't know when it will happen.

I should be writing bingo fics, but I'm completely stalled, can't get up motivation to even try. That's partly because I'm feeling like crap at the moment, partly because I have so much else to do. Signing up for bingo was probably a bad idea at this point in time, but I'll just have to try to get my brain to focus.

I'm trying to write bingo fics at the moment. I'm working on the sequel to my last one. I have an idea where I want it to go, but not quite sure how to get there. Just slowly beating the muses into submission.

Do you need any help coming up with some ideas? Or want me to look over what you have so far,see if I can give your muses a nudge?

At the moment I don't have anything to look at. I have a few vague ideas, plus the Jack and Ianto as kids fics that I was working on - got to beat the second one into submission before I can move forward. I've got an already written fic that I might use for Victory/Success, and a Nosy one I can use for the Pets/Animals square. I can't see me getting a blackout. I still need a concrete idea for Beautiful in order to get a line. Maybe I should do a couple of the squares using FAKE instead of Torchwood, I don't know. My main problem is just getting my head into a place where I can focus and actually TRY to write. I just don't much feel like making the effort, it takes too much thinking. Drabbles are so much easier, lol!

I'll let you know if I need something looking over once I can persuade myself to actually look at what I have written, lol. I won't know if that might help until I see what I've got. I haven't even started the Miniatures one yet, despite knowing what I plan to do with it. I just need to find my motivation. Can't find a damn thing around here, lol! Thank you! *hugs*

I could, but that doesn't work for any of the ideas I have at the moment, lol! I'm trying to concentrate (or I would be if I was actually writing) on specific lines of prompts, the ones I've already done some fills on. Otherwise all I'm going to end up doing are a few random squares o_O

Which prompts are left on the lines you have started?

I can't corral my bunnies into working on specific lines. I just have to work on whichever square inspires the bunnies at the time. I normally seem to write about seventeen or eighteen fics before I make even one bingo.

The top line I really just need to sort out something for Beautiful. I know what I plan to do for Miniatures and I have a Nosy fic for Pets/Animals so that would give me a line. The four Jack and Ianto as kids fics (well, one fic in 4 parts) will make a downwards line with the Miniatures fic. (I checked, I don't have to do the prompt twice). The diagonal, I've already posted fics for the first two squares, the middle one will be one of the kidfics, then I have Victory/Success (I have an already written fic that I think will work for that) and then it's 'I' becomes 'We', which is one of the prompts I hate. I have no clue how to handle that one. Those are the three lines I want to concentrate on for now. If I can get them done, I'll try some others.

So, what I need ideas for is really just Beautiful and 'I' Becomes 'We'. Then I just need a new writing mojo because I think mine is broken.
